Responsibilities:
· Develops, implement and maintain Project HSE Management Plan, Procedures, and programs in accordance with client and company requirements and industry best practices.
· Manages HSE professionals in different fabrication sites (Singapore, China and Brazil).
· Prepares reports and share executive summary of the performance for monthly review. quarterly operations review and steering committees (Environment, Safety and Health)
· Ensure timely submission of the weekly and monthly data for HSE Statistics to client and HSE Management.
· Coordinates and manage all the internal/ external audits (ISO45K, 14K etc.)
· Conducts regular risk assessments and job safety analysis to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures from different fabrication sites.
· Monitors compliance with HSE regulations, standards, and guidelines, ensuring that all employees are trained and aware of their responsibilities.
· Leads investigations of incidents and accidents, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
· Collaborates with management and staff to promote a positive safety culture, ensuring that safety considerations are integrated into all business operations.
· Provides training and support to employees on HSE topies, including emergency response, hazard recognition, and safe work practices.
· Prepares and maintain HSE performance reports and metries. presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and client.
· Coordinate and participate in HSE committees and initiatives, fostering teamwork and collaboration across departments.
· Keeps up date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, ensuring the organization adapts to changes as necessary.
· Liaises with client, project director and company management regarding HSE compliance and initiatives.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or
· related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE management. preferably in Marine and Oil and Gas Industry.
· Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage
· Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
· Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety program development.
· Having experience as a Project HSE Manager in FPSO projects is advantageous.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence employees at all levels.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
· Professional certifications relevant in Marine Industry such as Assess Shipyard Safety for Hot-Work, Manage Work at Height, and WSQ Assess Confined Space for Safe Entry and Work (CSSA) are desirable.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management tools.
