HSE Officer

Responsibilities:

• Administers and implement HSE programs, regulatory requirements & inhouse HSE Management System
• Advises & support project management team to achieve the project HSE Target/Goals
• Ensures the Safety of personnel through compliance with Workplace Safety & Health Act and other relevant legislations
• Supports Project HSE Manager to implement project HSE Programs
• Administer HSE Meetings
• Assess PTW for work activities (HW, CS, WAH, other General Permits)
• Reviews Risk Assessments and Work method statements
• Manages subcontractors to coordinate HSE Programs
• Conducts in-house HSE Trainings (When necessary)
• Ensures compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements
• Conducts daily site inspection to ensure workplace is safe to work
• Prepares HSE Documentation (E.G. HSE Plans, SWPs, Annual Activity Plan Etc)

Requirement:

• Minimum Nitec/ Certificate in any engineering field
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in HSE Field
• Preferably in Oil and Gas/Shipyard Industry
• Required Hot Work Assessor, Confined Space and Work at Height certification
• Required to be a WSHO Registered with MOM
• Able to work shift work
• Candidate should be dynamic, self-motivated and proactive.
• Good team player and able to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skill
• Willing to work overtime base on project needs
