Responsibilities
- Responsible for executing and managing topside module construction and integration projects as per contractual specification and quality standard with agreed timeline and safely.
- Responsible for leading the project team in completing the project(s) by a set deadline to uphold company initiatives and objectives.
- Involves in all stages of the integration from preparation to completion of topside systems.
- Goods in verbal and written communication in English. Possess good organizational, communication skills, presentation, and Reporting skills.
- Supervisions on site, this includes the supervision of construction and outfitting work and attendance at inspections and tests of structure, machinery, equipment and systems.
- To enforce on HSE Focus IOGP/HIRA/GOLDEN Rule, Safety audit, Safety Campaigns and Drills. Weekly HSE walkthrough to focus on critical work area and carryout engagement of workforce on site.
- Chairs various meeting with external and/or internal stakeholders
- Ensures quality control on the project to maintain the standards expected of applicable rules and contract requirements.
- Coordinating with Equipment Package Manager/Engineer to ensure the timely installation of equipment/bulk deliveries as well as vendor certified documents.
- Identifies and resolve site/production issues for topside when necessary
- To ensure that topside module completion, testing and commissioned as per project commissioning requirements.
- Leading project planning sessions, creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and ensuring projects meet deadlines.
- Coordinates with Engineering, QA, Commissioning and monitoring of all project documents in order to follow Basic Design, Building Specification, applicable rules, IMO Conventions & client requirements.
- Identifies risk, track and implementing risk mitigation plan.
- Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
- Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for Client and/or senior management.
- Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary.
- Abilities to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.
- Chairs project post-mortem and shared lessons learned with internal stakeholders.
- To summarize and issue minutes of Meeting, Presentation slide and reports (daily, weekly, and monthly)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or its equivalent from a recognized tertiary institute
- More than 10 years of relevant working experience in FPSO/ FLNG conversion projects and comprehensive knowledge on functionality of FPSO/ FLNG
- Possess working experience related to testing and calibration of FPSO/ FLNG instrument, DCS/ ICSS system knowledge and networking
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with ability to handle complex projects and lead multi-discipline team
- Familiar with all the Vessel class regulation and codes
- Have a proven track record of hands-on working knowledge in FPSO/ FLNG conversion projects
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Proactive, able to multi-task and adaptable to a dynamic fast-paced, collaborative environment
